USA VS. Trinidad & Tobago: Your Running Commentary
If you’re watching the US’ world cup qualifier tonight, this is the place for discussion. You’ll find the lineup after the jump, and any thoughts on it are welcome.

What do you think? I got it right calling the surprise start for Kljestan. Didn’t think he’d be playing D-mid though. Your thoughts on the game and the lineup below.

that’s really strange. I’m sure he’ll drift forward naturally.

expert finish by Bradley, that’s what you want to see from him. Just another observation, another set piece goal, let’s get some out of the run of play.

I believe you may have spoken too soon. I’m liking this little streak Clint is on.
September 10th, 2008 at 8:42 pm
agreed, Clint has proved me wrong.

If Brian Ching could finish, we wouldn’t have debates about forwards. His positioning is top class.

yeah, he’s in the right spots, but he can’t stick it in the back of the net. He’s looked pretty good so far, but he needs to put a ball in the net and then i’d be happy.

I get the feeling he’s going to, and sooner rather than later.

I’m quite pleased with the result so far. Two good goals and the midfield and defense have looked great. Let’s hope we can get 1 or 2 more.

not really how I wanted him to get it, but I did say he would.

there’s your scrappy goal right. it’s a nice play by Onyewu in the first place.

C’mon EJ

it was a very encouraging game. very happy with the team. Demps is back in my good graces and i am glad to see Bradley get a goal. EJ looked terrible though, and I Beasly didn’t look that great in the second half. besides that, overall a very fun one to watch.

i don’t know if you guys have seen this, but i think it is right up our alley. Deuce does more than just score goals.

Drop EJ now. He shows absolutely no passion what so ever. Also, is it just me or is Ching extremely slow? Jozy would have put at least one of those goals away.

How many times does EJ hit the ground when someone bumps him. He’s not tough enough mentally or physically at this point. Do you think CDemp will get a chance to play with Fulham since he’s scoring all these goals. Bradley, finally a goal.
