If we knick an early goal and hang on, we're through. I don't care what formation we use as long as we get at least a draw. The US has a difficult time working in all of the personnel they have so we use odd formations. We need 4 or 5 midfielders, but we also would like to use 2 forwards, and that means 3 in the back or u sacrifice a midfielder. That's why we're having a tough time. one win and we’re through. He was doubtful about Makaay's availability against the Americans." Makaay looked very dangerous the first half of that game.
