Have Your Voice Heard: Where should MLS Expand?
After Don Garber announced the league would be expanding by two more teams in 2011, the discussion raged over which cities would get to have one of the two expansion teams. So far, we are no closer to knowing that answer, but we all have our own opinions. My goal is to gage the mood of the public on this issue so, I present to you a poll. After the jump, you can see what I mean.
Feel free to discuss potential cities. Would you like Canada or America? Does New York need another team? When will the Southeast get a club? All your thoughts go below.

The Southeast needs a team…it is the only region of the country minus the floater states of Alaska and Hawaii that doesn’t have a “local” team, thus leaving an entire region without any reason to support MLS

South east needs to be a priority. After that, I support Portland because they already have great support for the USL 1 side and it would be a great rivalry for Seattle.

Atlanta, and here’s the reason(s)…(1)5 Million plus in the suburbs w/money to spend, (2) Arthur Blank, likes to spend money, he would build a great stadium, get interesting players with a bite (ha ha), (3)outside of California, Texas, and NY, ATL is a farmbed of fantastic young talent (4)huge market for Latinos, African nationals, and those from the Carribbean, mix in the soccer moms & pops and you’ve got people to support a club (5) better strike fast because Lacrosse is catching on.

Atlanta is big enough so it sounds good to me.
