Joseph Ngwenya, the Zimbabwean International is on a three week trial with German Giants Bayern Munich. Ngwenya spent four years in MLS before leaving last season for Austria. He made one appearance and is now looking for a new club. Munich only has four strikers on their squad which might have sparked their interest in Ngwenya. I’m still a little shocked after I read the headline, first reported by the Herald Tribune. Ngwenya has talent but in my estimation, not the talent needed to play for Bayern Munich.
For whatever reason, they have given Ngwenya a chance. I hope he does well and hopefully her raises MLS’s rep over in Europe.
