Brad Guzan Secures UK Work Permit (Thank God)
If finally happened, Brad Guzan secured his UK work permit. After being denied in the winter, Guzan finally got his move to the premiership. The fee is rumored to be about $1.5 million which is more than half of what Villa was ready to pay in the winter. Now with the acquisition of Guzan, Villa has the two goalkeepers they wanted. Unfortunately for Guzan, he will probably be the backup to Brad Friedel who moved to Aston Villa just this past week.
What do you think of the move? Are you happy to see him be a back up? I know that I’m not. I would have rather seen him move to a team where he could start. The only good thing is he’s in line to start after Friedel retires.
Anyway, here’s a tribute to Guzan’s time in MLS.
Your thoughts below.

Why TWO Yanks on the same team…bad for business, I realize that American keepers are quite the rage, but Guzan and Friedel. Is this a case of Villa getting Guzan so others didn’t get him?
