Brad Friedel Leaving Blackburn
Bye Bye Brad. Brad Friedel is set to leave Blackburn after the club accepted a $4 million offer for him. Blackburn wouldn’t disclose the team that the offer came from, but the leading candidate was Aston Villa. Blackburn also say that they will only officially sell Friedel when they find a suitable replacement for him in the goal. Here is the official statement of the club.
“Blackburn Rovers have accepted a bid from a Premier League club for goalkeeper Brad Friedel. The transfer is conditional to Rovers having a bid for a goalkeeper at another club accepted.”
