Freddy Adu’s First Minutes

Tag: UncategorizedMax Zeger @ 9:58 am

This is certainly a bit belated being that it is tuesday, but I thought you guys might like to see what I’ve found.  Courtesy of NSC, I found this nice video of our beloved Freddy Adu’s first appearance for Monaco.  It’s six minutes long so make sure you have a bit of time, but it is definitely worth watching.  Freddy makes one great pass towards the end of the video, and overall, he looked calm and composed.  Anyway, the video is after the jump.

What did you think of his first appearance?  Do you think he’ll fit in at Monaco?  Your thoughts on Freddy go below.

not bad. This is going to be his role most likely though. He’ll be brought in at the end of matches in hopes to spur some offense.

  2. Chuck says:

I don’t see that being his “role”. they brought him to play quality minutes and not like how Benfica used him.

  3. Jonesta says:

you cant say this will be his role after seeing this, he just joined with the team and has barely trained due to the olympics.

  4. Max Zeger says:

I’m pretty sure he’s get some significant minutes. Especially if they sell Jeremy Menez, he’ll be started. With no time to train, and just coming from China, he’ looked good, and I think we will see him much more in the future.

  5. Geoff S. says:

One of the worst 6 and a half minute stretches of football I’ve ever seen. Maybe Freddy will contend to be a major contributor. It certainly won’t hurt

He will be starting, from the looks of it he should be one of the better players
